This Privacy Policy explains how the Envy Sports Club & Pools membership app (the “App”) handles your information. The App exists for a single purpose: to display your personal membership barcode so you can enter the club. We collect only what is needed to do that.
Information We Collect
- Account credentials. When you sign in, you provide the email address and password associated with your Envy Sports Club membership. Your password is sent directly to the Envy membership system to authenticate you and is never stored on your device.
- Membership data. After sign-in, the App receives your name, membership status, and your door-entry barcode value so it can be displayed to you and to the club’s entry reader.
- Authentication tokens. To keep you signed in, the App stores secure access and refresh tokens on your device using the platform’s encrypted storage (Apple Keychain on iOS, encrypted preferences on Android).
What We Do Not Collect
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers.
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, or device-content access.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers — ever.
How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used solely to authenticate you and to display your membership barcode. The App communicates only with the Envy Sports Club membership service to sign you in and retrieve your current barcode. It does not transmit your data to any other third party.
Data Storage & Security
Authentication tokens are stored in the operating system’s secure, encrypted storage. The barcode screen is protected from screen capture, and your membership barcode rotates regularly for security. All communication with the membership service uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
Data Retention
Tokens and cached membership data remain on your device only while you are signed in. Signing out of the App removes them from your device.
Your Choices
You may sign out at any time from within the App to clear stored data from your device. To close your membership account or request deletion of your membership records, contact Envy Sports Club directly.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for club members. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
